Patient information

On your first visit you will be greeted in the central lobby, where you can ask your questions at the reception and be informed about the medical services.
If your condition requires admission to the hospital, you will be notified at the Registry of the possibilities during your treatment and stay.

You can be admitted to the hospital in one of the following ways:

  • As a compulsory health insured person with Direction №7 issued by your personal doctor or specialist. Admission for hospital treatment, regardless of the fact that you have the necessary referral, is only at the discretion of the relevant specialist of the Diagnostic and Consulting Unit of the hospital. Referral №7 for hospitalisation can be issued to you by the hospital, regardless of whether you have passed an examination under the NHIF or a paid consultation.

  • As a matter of urgency, after the assessment of the doctor-specialist from the ward or from the respective specialist from the Diagnostic-consultative unit.

  • If you are not a health insured person or you have missed health insurance contributions - you can pay the health contributions for the missed period in advance or during the hospital stay until discharge.

  • In case of non-restoration of health insurance rights - payment is covered by the patient according to the price list of the hospital.

Upon admission to the hospital, it is recommended that patients bring with them all medical records from previous hospitalizations and treatments.
If you are a health insured person, your treatment in the hospital through a clinical path is completely free.

Discharge

The discharge from the hospital is done every day and on exceptional basis on Sunday between 11.00 and 16.30. The duration of treatment is in accordance with the course of the disease and the condition of the patients, as well as with the necessary stay in the relevant clinical path. The patients leave the hospital after receiving an epicrisis and recommendations from the attending physician. Upon discharge, a user fee for daily stay is paid, with the exception of those exempted from the fee under Article 37, Paragraph 1 of the Health Insurance Act.
